How accurate is the calculator?
It's a rule-of-thumb guide built on the factors that actually decide it: age, refrigerant, what failed, repair history, coastal exposure and how long you're staying. An inspection confirms it.
What if it says replace but I want to repair?
That's your call, and sometimes a repair to get through a season is sensible. We'll price both options honestly.
