Who actually does the work?
Every licensed job is performed by a Florida state-licensed CAC contractor and permitted wherever the county requires it. Ask for the license number before the job and we'll give it to you in writing.
How much does AC repair or a new AC cost?
It depends on your system: which part failed, the refrigerant, access, and for replacements the tonnage, efficiency, ductwork and permit requirements. You always get a flat written price before work starts. Our cost page explains exactly what moves the number.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. Florida requires a permit for an AC change-out, and in Miami-Dade and Broward the outdoor equipment needs county product approval. The permit is on the written quote.
How do you size a new system?
With a Manual J load calculation, not a square-foot rule of thumb. Oversized systems are the most common mistake in South Florida: they cool fast, don't dehumidify, and wear out early.
