Trane's residential lines include the XR (single-stage), XL (typically two-stage) and XV (variable-speed) series, plus package units. American Standard equipment is built by the same company and shares much of its engineering. We also work on Trane light-commercial units.
What we see most on Trane systems here

- Coil leaks near the coast. Many Trane outdoor units use an all-aluminum Spine Fin coil, which performs well but can corrode in heavy salt exposure.

Warranty basics
Trane's parts and compressor coverage generally depends on registration within the manufacturer's window after installation. Look up your terms with your serial number on Trane's site. Manufacturer coverage is typically parts only. On new installs we register the warranty in your name and give you our labor terms in writing.
Replacing a Trane
If the system is old, on R-22, or facing a compressor or coil repair, we'll lay out repair versus replacement honestly, with Manual J sizing for any new system.
